CONTRO Fly Spray for Horses - strong protection against flies, horseflies & mosquitoes.
When flies get really bad, many horses can hardly settle down. They constantly swish their tails, stomp their legs, become restless in the pasture or react sensitively to horseflies, mosquitoes and other insects.
CONTRO was developed as a powerful fly spray for horses and supports daily fly control, insect protection for horses and protection against flies, horseflies and mosquitoes. It is ideal for the stable, pasture, hacking, summer, training and daily horse care.
Unlike many conventional sprays, CONTRO does not merely sit on the surface for a short time. Its special mode of action uses your horse's natural movement - for example, tail swishing - to support the protective effect. This keeps your horse protected for longer without requiring constant reapplication.
CONTRO is particularly suitable for:
- fly-related stress in summer

Why CONTRO is different

D seal / anti-doping tested
CONTRO bears the recognized D seal. This means the product has been tested for doping-relevant ingredients and complies with ADMR regulations. CONTRO is therefore also suitable for horses competing in equestrian sports.
Ingredients
Labeling in accordance with EC No. 648/2004:
• 5–15% non-ionic surfactants
• < 5% fragrances (Geraniol, Eugenol, Citral, Limonene, Citronellol)
The fragrances contained form the basis of the insect repellent and are activated by movement.
Use biocidal products with caution.

Application
Shake well before use.
Then apply sparingly and evenly.
Recommended:
• Spray onto the tail (main area of effect)
• Rub sensitive areas with a soaked sponge
Why the tail?
The natural swishing of the tail actively distributes the active ingredient in the surrounding area.
Reapplication:
The application can be repeated as needed, especially in cases of:
• heavy sweating
• contact with water
• high insect activity

Das Spray hilft auf jeden Fall gegen Insekten.
Ich bin bisher zufrieden, beobachte es weiter, da wir in der Aue stehen und mein Pferd von früh bis abends auf der Koppel steht.
Einige Bremsen suchen sich jedoch genau die Stellen aus, welche nicht besprüht sind, das konnte ich beobachten. Im Allgemeinen ist mein Pferd definitiv weniger gestresst, als zuvor und ich werde das Mittel weiterhin bestellen.
Kleine Zusatzinfo :
Für Besitzer, welche den Schweif täglich verlesen, wird es schwierig.
Das Spray wirkt ölig/verklebend im Schweif und der Mähne (schlechter zu bürsten).
Damit kann ich selbst trotzdem gut leben, wasche ihn regelmäßig und, wenn es mein Pferd entlastet, kann ich auch darauf verzichten.

Das Spray hat die Fliegen und Bremsen sehr gut abgehalten. Aber leider haben alle 4 Pferde Hautreaktion gezeigt, deshalb kann ich leider nur 3 Sterne geben.
Gegen den Insektendruck hat es wirklich sehr gut geholfen

1x getestet als Bremsen stark vertreten waren. Trotz intensiven Geruchs, war es eigentlich schlechter als meine bisherige Mischung von Kerbex rot mit Zedan extra stark.
Werde das Produkt daher nicht mehr kaufen, weil es preislich auch nicht günstig ist.

Der Duft ist sehr angenehm, aber das entscheidende ist ja das die Fliegen Abstand halten, und das tun sie mehr als bei anderen Produkten. Es ist nicht 100% perfekt, aber es ist schon sehr gut und besser als viele andere die ich in meiner langen Laufbahn als Pferdebesitzer getestet habe.
