Hereinafter referred to as “Hoofgold”.
2. Name and subject of the competition
The competition is called:
Hoofgold Contro Competition 2026
As part of this competition, Hoofgold will award a total of:
100 × Hoofgold Contro, 500 ml each
Each winner will receive one bottle of Hoofgold Contro containing 500 ml.
3. Participation period
The competition begins on:
14 July 2026 at 00:00
and ends on:
15 August 2026 at 23:59.
The time at which the fully completed entry form is received by Hoofgold is decisive for timely participation.
Entries received after the participation period has ended can no longer be considered.
4. Eligibility
Eligible participants are natural persons who:
- are at least 18 years old,
- are resident in Germany,
- own, look after, or regularly care for a horse and
- have a valid email address.
Participation is free of charge and is not conditional on the purchase of a product or subscription to a newsletter.
Employees of Hoofgold and persons directly involved in planning or conducting the competition are excluded from participation. The same applies to relatives of these persons where this could result in a conflict of interest.
5. How to enter
To enter the competition, participants must fully complete and submit the designated online form during the participation period.
The entry form requests, in particular, the following information:
- first name and last name,
- email address,
- where applicable, country or place of residence,
- information about the horse, where applicable,
- Consent to these terms and conditions,
- Acknowledgement of the privacy policy.
Only one entry per person and per email address is permitted.
A comment under the corresponding Facebook post may form part of the communication about the competition. However, only the fully completed and successfully submitted entry form is relevant for a valid entry.
Incomplete, late, or obviously incorrect entries may be excluded from participation.
6. Prizes
The following prizes will be awarded among all valid entries:
100 × Hoofgold Contro, 500 ml each
Each winner will receive:
1 × Hoofgold Contro 500 ml
Cash payment, exchange, credit, or transfer of the prize claim to another person is excluded.
The prize may not be exchanged for other Hoofgold products.
7. Selection of the winners
The winners will be selected at random from all valid entries after the participation period has ended.
The draw will take place within 3 to 5 days after the end of the competition.
There is no entitlement to a prize.
Hoofgold reserves the right to check before the draw whether the respective entry is complete and complies with these terms and conditions of participation.
8. Notification of Winners
The winners will be notified within 3 to 5 days after the entry deadline via the email address provided in the entry form.
Participants are responsible for providing a valid and correctly spelled email address and for checking their spam or junk mail folder after the prize draw has ended.
There is no entitlement to public announcement of the winners.
The winners will be asked in the notification of the win to provide their complete shipping address within a reasonable period.
If a winner does not respond within 5 calendar days after the notification of the win has been sent, or if the message cannot be delivered due to an incorrect email address, the entitlement to the prize may lapse. In this case, Hoofgold is entitled to draw a replacement winner.
9. Shipping of Prizes
Shipping is free to a valid delivery address within Germany provided by the winner after notification of the win.
The shipping address will be used exclusively to process and deliver the prize.
Hoofgold accepts no responsibility for delays caused by the shipping company or by incorrect or incomplete address details, insofar as Hoofgold is not responsible for them.
If a prize cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address or for other reasons attributable to the winner, Hoofgold is not obligated to ship it again.
10. Use of the Product
The prize must be used in accordance with the product information, safety instructions and usage recommendations on the packaging or in the product information provided by Hoofgold.
Participants or winners are responsible for checking before use whether the product is suitable for the respective horse and the intended area of application.
If known intolerances, skin reactions or uncertainties occur, use should be discontinued and professional or veterinary advice sought if necessary.
11. Newsletters and Marketing Emails
Participation in the prize draw is not conditional on signing up for the Hoofgold newsletter.
Participants will receive newsletters or other promotional emails only if they have given separate, voluntary consent for this in the entry form.
The decision whether to give consent to the newsletter has no influence on the chance of winning.
Consent that has been given may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future, for example via the unsubscribe link in the respective email.
Advertising by electronic mail generally requires separate consent. In addition, it must be possible to object to direct advertising at any time.
12. Data protection
Hoofgold processes the personal data provided as part of the prize draw to conduct and administer the prize draw.
This includes in particular:
- name,
- email address,
- entry details,
- information about the horse, where applicable,
- the shipping address for winners,
- any communication details relating to notification of the prize, where applicable.
The data is used in particular to:
- to record participation,
- to identify impermissible multiple entries,
- to determine and notify the winners,
- to request the shipping address,
- to ship the prize,
- to process any queries or legal claims.
Data collected exclusively to conduct the prize draw will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for its administration and there are no statutory retention obligations or legitimate reasons for further storage.
Newsletter data is processed for marketing purposes only with separate consent and independently of the prize draw data.

Personal data may only be collected for specified, explicit purposes and stored no longer than necessary. Data subjects must also be informed about the purpose, the controller and their rights.
13. Exclusion of participants
Hoofgold reserves the right to exclude participants from the prize draw if:
- false, misleading or incomplete information is provided,
- the same person or email address submits multiple entries,
- technical aids, automated procedures or other impermissible means are used,
- there is evidence of manipulation or an attempted manipulation,
- third-party rights are infringed,
- these terms of participation are violated.
Disqualification may also take place retrospectively. If the prize has already been awarded, Hoofgold may revoke the entitlement to the prize and, if applicable, determine an alternative winner.
14. Technical disruptions
Hoofgold does not guarantee that the entry form, website, Facebook or other participating platforms will be available without restriction at all times.
Hoofgold shall not be liable for participation attempts that are not transmitted or are transmitted late due to technical disruptions, transmission errors, platform outages, internet problems or other circumstances beyond Hoofgold's control.
This does not apply insofar as Hoofgold caused the disruption intentionally or through gross negligence.
15. Modification or early termination
Hoofgold reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the prize draw early for good cause if its proper conduct can no longer be guaranteed.
This applies in particular in the event of:
- technical problems,
- attempts at manipulation,
- outages of participating platforms,
- legal or official requirements,
- force majeure,
- other events beyond Hoofgold's control.
Where possible, valid entries already received will be given appropriate consideration in the event of a change.
16. No affiliation with Facebook or Instagram
This prize draw is not affiliated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta and is in no way sponsored, supported or organized by Facebook, Instagram or Meta.
The recipient of the information provided and the sole contact for the prize draw is Hoofgold.
Participants shall indemnify Facebook, Instagram and Meta against claims arising in connection with the prize draw to the extent permitted by law.
17. Liability
Hoofgold shall be liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, as well as for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health.
In the event of a slightly negligent breach of material contractual obligations, liability shall be limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.
In all other respects, liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
Statutory claims under the Product Liability Act shall remain unaffected.
18. Legal recourse and applicable law
Legal recourse with regard to the conduct of the prize draw is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
Mandatory statutory consumer protection provisions applicable to participants shall remain unaffected.
19. Severability clause
Should any provision of these Terms of Participation be or become wholly or partially invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
The statutory provisions shall apply in place of the invalid provision.
