A big plus is the possibility of applying it. I've tried sprays before, but spraying by hand is difficult. With this you can do it in a relaxed manner and distribute it well in the hoof. After a few uses, the incipient thrush was gone. Your hands or gloves do turn purple, but it comes off easily. I would buy it again.

After our vet and a new, competent hoof carer cut away a lot, we have been treating him with hoofgold for four weeks. It is a one-off treatment. We use it daily with a bandage.
